The new 2015 Jeep Cherokee offers two powerful engines. The standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder produces 184 horsepower and 171 lbs.-ft. of torque, and it's the only engine offered for the Sport trim. Higher trims offer an optional 3.2-liter 271 HP V6. Both engines come with a nine-speed automatic transmission, which provides great fuel efficiency at 31 mpg on the highway for the 4-cylinder and 29 mpg highway for the V6. Four-wheel drive is available as an alternative to the standard front-wheel drive. The powerful Cherokee can also tow up to 4,500 pounds when properly equipped.
